2017 SPE Asia Pacific Regional Student Paper Contest

We are pleased to advise that the 2017 SPE Asia Pacific Regional Student Paper Contest will be held in conjunction with SPE’s regional flagship event, the 2017 SPE/IATMI Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE) at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali, Indonesia, on 17-19 October 2017.

We welcome and encourage SPE student chapter members in Asia Pacific to submit paper abstracts for the opportunity to be shortlisted to participate and present their technical presentations at the event at APOGCE.

The contest is open to Undergraduate and Postgraduate student members. Winners of both categories will be invited to attend and compete at the SPE International Student Paper Contest, held during the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) from 24-26 September 2018 in Dallas, Texas, USA. In addition to showcasing their technical knowledge at the contest, the winning regional representatives will have the opportunity to meet practicing professionals and industry members from across the globe for their professional career development.

Your abstract and participating details must be submitted at APPLY APSPC. The submission deadline is 14 July 2017. For enquiries, please contact apspc@spe.org

IMPORTANT: Submissions via email will NOT be accepted. Each student chapter/university may only submit TWO (2) contestants per category. Please check with your respective chapters before submitting your abstract. The organising committee reserves the right to reject any submission not in accordance with the terms of the contest.

We look forward to your participation.
